Follow these instructions to powerwash a Chromebook. This will fix common technical issues such as students being unable to log in. All data on the Chromebook will be erased. Make sure to save any important files to Google Drive before powerwashing.

1. Press esc + refresh + power at the same time. You will see a screen that says "Please insert a recovery USB stick or SD card."
2. Press ctrl + d.
3. Press enter.
4. Press enter again when prompted. The computer will reboot.
5. Press Get Started.
6. Connect to the Guest network.
7. Press Done.

You will see the GUSD login screen. Within a few minutes the background will turn white. If you see your school abbreviation written in red in the top right corner of the screen the process has finished successfully.
