📠 Zoom Fax – Quick User Guide (Zoom Workplace for Windows Desktop)
✅ What You’ll Need
✔ Zoom Workplace with Zoom Phone (Online Fax enabled)
✔ Zoom Desktop app installed (Windows)
✔ A valid Zoom Phone fax-capable number assigned
✔ Document(s) ready to send (PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TXT, DOC, DOCX — ≤50 MB)
1️⃣ Open the Zoom App

Launch the Zoom Workplace desktop app on your Windows PC.

Sign in with your Zoom credentials (Sign in with SSO or Google) if you aren’t already.
2️⃣ Go to the Fax Interface
Zoom Fax is inside Zoom Phone:

Click the Phone tab on the left.

Under Phone, click the Fax tab to open the Online Fax dashboard.
Tip: If Fax isn’t visible in the top toolbar, it may be under Phone by default. You can customize it in Settings > Phone > Tab Management to show Fax as a top-level tab.
3️⃣ Start a New Fax

In the Fax view, click the + New / Add button (usually in the top right).
4️⃣ Enter Fax Details
🧾 To

Type the recipient’s fax number in the To field (include area code/country code as needed).
📞 From
-
Select the Zoom Phone fax number you are sending from (if you have multiple numbers).
5️⃣ Attach Your Document(s)

Click Attach or drag/drop the file into the window.

Supported formats: PDF, DOC/DOCX, JPG/JPEG, PNG, TXT.
📝 Maximum 50 MB total attachment size and up to 300 pages per fax.
6️⃣ (Optional) Add a Cover Page

Choose a cover page before sending.
7️⃣ Send the Fax

Click Send when everything is ready.
📥 Check Fax Status
After sending:

Go to the Outbox tab to view sending status.

Sent faxes can also be reviewed and downloaded.

You can see received faxes in Inbox.
📌 Tips
✔ Ensure your Zoom desktop app is up-to-date for the latest Fax features.
✔ If the Fax tab doesn’t show, check with your Zoom admin that Online Fax is enabled and assigned to your line.
✔ Faxing is charged by page count.
